What can you use the app for?

Roambi Analytics is a mobile reporting and analytics app that was designed and built for mobile first. The business intelligence application is 100% mobile native working seamlessly on all tablets and smart phones. The dashboards offered in Roambi Analytics are highly interactive, visual and dynamic and there are a number of visualization options to meet all preferences. Roambi can import and translate data from any of your applications and systems, transforming this data into interactive charts that can be published and shared with other users.

Roambi Analytics provides non-static, interactive dashboards that are available in 10 different visualizations called “Views”. Each View has its own unique set of moving visuals, navigation and analytic features that guide you through your data in an active presentation. The Views in Roambi Analytics can be used to create data comparisons for viewing metrics side-by-side, to view trends and performance over time, to see a hierarchy of data and a drill path, to view workflow processes and more.

Roambi lets you import data from spreadsheets, databases, business intelligence tools, CRMs and any other app or system. From here, you can bring your data to life through choosing rich interactive charts, graphs, dimensions, filters and more. Or, you can simply choose your desired View and publish and share the results straightaway. These dashboards can be viewed on any iOS or Android device and also have 100% offline functionality. Roambi also offers a number of additional tools for setting up alerts, adding bookmarks, and language localization for 11 different languages.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Roambi was founded in 2008 with a goal to create interactive data visualizations that complimented the growing smartphone market. The app launched in 2009 and today is used by thousands of companies worldwide, including both Global 500 enterprises and SMBs.

Roambi now offers two products: Roambi Analytics and Roambi Flow. While, Roambi Analytics is used to transform data into visualizations, Roambi Flow is used to create narratives to surround this data. Flow can be used to tell your story through templates and layouts, embedding text, images, and video.

What are the differences to other apps?

As Roambi Analytics was designed for mobile devices first, all of the dashboards and visualizations you create, as well as the narrative publications created with Roambi Flow, can be viewed on the go from smart phones and tablets in a way that doesn’t compromise on the quality of the visualization.

Unlike other BI tools, Roambi Analytics displays data in a nonstatic, active way that makes for a more engaging and interactive experience. The different views offered in Roambi Analytics are designed to compliment the type of data being used, matching how the mind interprets data with what you see on the screen.
